How it works

  1. 1 We pull each device’s local key from your Tuya account once, during setup.
  2. 2 A tiny bridge service talks the Tuya local protocol straight to each device over your LAN.
  3. 3 Devices show up in Home Assistant automatically and respond instantly — no cloud in the loop.

We build and maintain the tooling behind this in the open. Both are C++ and track the Tuya local protocol (v3.1 / v3.3 / v3.4).
