Local Tuya Control

We control your Tuya smart plugs, switches and bulbs directly on your network — no cloud round-trip. Faster response, full privacy, and it keeps working even when your internet is down.

Our Tuya bridge auto-discovers your devices into Home Assistant — controlled entirely on your LAN.

Why local control matters

Instant response

Commands travel a few feet across your home network instead of to a server and back. Lights and plugs react the moment you ask.

🔒

Private by design

Device state never leaves your home. No third-party cloud account is required to turn on a light.

🌐

Works offline

Internet outage? Your automations keep running. Local control does not depend on the manufacturer’s servers being up.

How it works

  1. 1 We pull each device’s local key from your Tuya account once, during setup.
  2. 2 A tiny bridge service talks the Tuya local protocol straight to each device over your LAN.
  3. 3 Devices show up in Home Assistant automatically and respond instantly — no cloud in the loop.
